About a week ago, I was working away, on a grey day, when the postman popped a chunky A4 letter through my door. I was not expecting anything (as far as I could remember), so opened it thinking it must be something boring (as my post usually is). I was delighted to pull out The Knitting Collection Volume One, the long-awaited new knitting publication from TailorMade Publishing. I leafed through the magazine, and quickly found the design I was really looking for (although I actually love all the designs in the mag!) - the Laugier Poncho by Joanne Scrace, knitted in Libby Summers Chunky yarn. I am thrilled with the photography and styling by Britt Spring, and very excited by the first published design in my yarn that is not designed by me. I thought it would be a milestone when this happened, it is. I hope you like the pattern, which you can buy at most newsagents or supermarkets in the UK. Please get in touch with your photos if you decide to knit one up! Laugier Poncho, The Knitting Collection, Volume One |
